- Crystal V3 contributionsAbsolutely love Surfers Paradise. So much to do! Take plenty of money with you! Go on the Jet boats! Wax Museum! - Darryl DTalbingo, Australia7 contributionsI booked a climb with some trepidation. The weather was less than ideal but I checked the forecast and went for the best conditions. However, it all turned to custard and the climb was cancelled as were the successive climbs. The staff were truly amazing helping me to select alternatives. Unfortunately, the sky was not accommodating, and we had to opt for a full refund. This is quite refreshing for a tourist spot. I have many expiring vouchers (in lieu of a refund) that I will not be able to use. Well done SkyPoint, you can book with confidence.Written 9 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Ximena R1 contributionThe sanctuary is a good place to go with your family or friends, my experience was amazing. They care the animals and protect them very well. You can live the experience if seeing the hospital, participate in different activities and learn a lot about environmental care.Written 4 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Catherine EBrisbane, Australia2 contributionsWe enjoyed our time at Seaworld. Unfortunately, on the first afternoon we went, most of the rides in the Nickelodeon kids' area were closed for the day (Friday) which was disappointing. When we returned the following day, the rides were all open, but the wait times were lengthy which, for a 3-year-old, was difficult. Also, with many of the rides, and particularly with the kids' rollercoaster, there were multiple occasions where there were adults taking up entire carriages so other children were missing out. There should be no adults riding without an accompanying child to save on wait times for the children.
In the general park area, the rides also often went with vacant seats making the general wait times longer. Perhaps consider filling every seat as much as possible prior to running the ride.
The Leviathan rollercoaster - we entered the park at opening time, 10am. By 10.30 a large queue had formed and nobody had been allowed to enter as it wasn't opened yet. We finally entered and queued up again, but by 10.45 or so, nobody had been able to ride and not long after that, they were doing their test runs with empty cars. The rides should be ready to go at the park opening time - especially since it's only open 10am - 5pm. Taking a full hour out of the opening times for ride availability is unacceptable.
It would be great if there were water fountains available throughout the park for people to fill their water bottles and remain hydrated.
One last thing, we were sad to see the monorail decommissioned - hoping that comes back at some stage.
Overall, in spite of the above, we had a very enjoyable time at Seaworld.Written 22 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Angela SPrestatyn, UK51 contributionsVisiting from the UK and a local recommended this beach for surfing, great beach spot, toilets and showers to hand too which make it’s convenient, free parking right on beach front and a few shops, coffee, ice cream etc around the area also. Lifeguards all around so felt safe whilst my son tired out surfing with his hired board.Written 29 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - kyieleeQueensland, Australia262 contributionsLovely place for family, plenty for everyone. queue could be long on the weekend but it's the same with all other amusement park, not a big fan of their parking lot, feels really crowded but the pedestrian walk definitely helped.

While we live in the theme park capital of the world, this place doesn't really compare, but the Green Lantern coaster was really cool and unique, and we also really enjoyed Superman Escape and Batwing Spaceshot for a great view of the park. I was incredibly disappointed the Scooby Doo coaster was under renovation because that was my main motivation for coming, but I hope it'll be heavily improved. It seems like a great park for kids, especially with their massive driving school section. However, I did not enjoy Tom and Jerry's 4D experience (very jolty) nor the DC Rivals Hypercoaster (too intense for me and nothing special), or the Hollywood Stunt Driver show (toxic fumes RIGHT in your face!), plus the Justice League 3D ride was really hot and weird. It looks like this park is going to opening a lot of new rides soon, so I hope to visit again in the future. I also have to mention the amazing customer service and the free wheelchair rental! I can't stand for more than a couple minutes at a time, so guest services offered me one of their complimentary wheelchairs to use for the day, which included a wristband that allowed me to skip the lines so my partner and I got everything done in 4 hours. I'm only mentioning this for other fellow disabled guests – please please don't abuse this helpful system for those of us who need it or else it will get taken away!Written 4 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
