Public servants from across the US federal government and beyond will come together this week to share insights on how to transform public services in the digital age.

GovernmentDX is being held in Washington DC on 18 and 19 April. The event programme brings together global technology leaders to share insight and intelligence on how technology can be used to drive innovation and deliver high-quality public services.

An open conference and exhibition will be held on 18 April at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, followed by an invitation-only roundtable on 19 April.

The conference sessions will examine four key elements to transforming digital government service delivery:

  • Improving design and delivery of public services for customers
  • Leveraging data and AI
  • Modernising government technology
  • Integrating cybersecurity from the beginning

The event will also provide insight on how the White House’s Delivering a Digital-First Public Experience policy guidance can be implemented through adopting new technologies and setting standards to deliver online tools and experiences that meet today’s expectations.
