About Research Month



Research Month 2024 is part of our ongoing efforts to foster the research mission and to celebrate the University's research enterprise, which is comprised of external grants and contracts, distinguished scholarly projects, and outstanding creative works. In this spirit, our students and faculty will exhibit poster and oral presentations in the Interdisciplinary Research Building (2201 Georgia Ave NW, Washington, DC 20059) on Thursday, April 25th and Friday, April 26th in the following categories:

  • Business
  • Creative Arts & Design
  • Education & Outreach
  • Environmental Science & Studies
  • Humanities
  • Physical Sciences & Engineering
  • Social Sciences
  • Translational & Clinical Sciences

Abstract Submissions

Abstracts for posters or presentations must be submitted by 11:59 PM Friday, March 22, 2024 electronically via this website. Late submissions will not be accepted. Submit only your abstract. Do not submit complete research papers.

Volunteer Opportunities

Faculty, staff, and students are invited to participate as volunteers during the symposium sessions. The oral and poster presentations will take place on Thursday, April 25th and Friday, April 26th.
