George Hastings, IV conde de Huntingdon (1540–30 de diciembre de 1604) fue un noble inglés.

Biografía

Hijo de Francis Hastings, II conde de Huntingdon y Catherine Pole, hija de Henry Pole, barón Montagu y Jane Neville. Era el hermano menor de Henry Hastings, III conde de Huntingdon, y hermano mayor de Francis Hastings. Sucedió a su hermano mayor como conde de Huntingdon a su muerte en 1595.

Fue Alto Sheriff de Leicestershire en 1571 y miembro del parlamento por Derbyshire en 1562 y Leicestershire en 1562 y entre 1584 y 1587. Fue nombrado caballero en 1565.​ Vivió en Gopsall y Loughborough, ambos en Leicestershire.

Fue sucedido por su nieto, Henry Hastings, V conde de Huntingdon.

Matrimonio

George se casó con Dorothy Port, hija y co-heredera de Sir John Port de Etwall, Derbyshire.​ Tuvieron cinco hijos:

• Francis Hastings, barón Hastings (1560–1595), padre de Henry Hastings, V conde de Huntingdon.
• Henry Hastings (1562– 5 de octubre de 1650).
• Sir Edward Hastings.
• Catherine Hastings, esposa de Sir Walter Chetwynd y Sir Edward Unton. Su segundo marido era hijo de Edward Buton y Anne Seymour, hija de Edward Seymour, I duque de Somerset.
• Dorothy Hastings, esposa con Robert Dillon, II conde de Roscommon y James Stewart.
