Biography

Georg von Württemberg, Count of Montbéliard (Mömpelgard) was born in 1498. He was the son of duke Heinrich of Württemberg and his second wife Eva von Salm.

He married Barbara von Hessen, daughter of Philip I von Hessen, in 1555. They had three children:

  1. Ulrich (1556–1557)
  2. Friedrich, Count of Montbéliard (1557–1608)
  3. Eva Christina (1558–1575).

Georg died in 1558.
