‘Relentlessly brilliant’: Gary Lineker blown away by one Tottenham player

Gary Lineker has praised Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane on Twitter for his performance against Nottingham Forest away from home at the City Ground in the Premier League on Sunday.

Antonio Conte’s Tottenham have got the better of Nottingham Forest 2-0 this evening.

England international striker Kane scored both the goals.

The Tottenham star found the back of the net first in the fifth minute and then on 81 minutes.

Kane also failed to successfully convert a penalty.

Former Tottenham striker and Match of the Day presenter Lineker was impressed by Kane and by his Spurs teammate Richarlison.

World-class

In our view, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is a world-class striker, and he has shown that time and time again.

The Englishman was superb against Nottingham Forest this evening.

Yes, Kane was not exactly at his best very best, but even then he scored two goals and could have had a hat-trick.

The Tottenham striker has scored 187 goals in 286 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

For Tottenham to do well in the Premier League and in the UEFA Champions League this season, Kane will have to be on top of his game throughout.
