Helen Of Mar was born about 1292, in Aberdeenshire, Scotland as the daughter of Gartnait of Mar Earl of Mar. She married Sir John Menteith Lord of Arran after 1295, in Scotland. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 3 daughters. She died about 1344, in Scotland, United Kingdom, at the age of 54.
