Ryan Gosling stars in The Fall Guy, a new action-thriller based on the 1981 television series of the same name. In the upcoming film, Gosling plays Colt Seavers, a stuntman who finds himself thrown into an epic adventure when the actor he's doubling for goes missing. Seavers goes on the hunt for his missing partner, only to land in the middle of a much larger conspiracy.

Gosling is the perfect person to make a movie that involves the behind-the-scenes antics of the film industry because he's had such a long and prolific career. With a filmography going back nearly thirty years, Ryan Gosling has appeared in his fair share of popular movies, some of which did remarkably well at the box office. From La La Land to the smash hit Barbie, these are Ryan Gosling's highest-grossing films of all time, according to The Numbers.

Fracture is a little-known psychological thriller starring Ryan Gosling and Anthony Hopkins. After attempting to murder his unfaithful wife, Ted Crawford (Hopkins) is arrested and questioned by Deputy District Attorney Will Beachum (Gosling). Beachum does his best to get to the bottom of the case, though Crawford seeks to foil him at every step.

Still, early in his career, Gosling shows his merit as a future star. Fracture may not have made the most money of any film in Gosling's career, but it gave him the chance to work closely with a celebrated actor like Hopkins, which no doubt aided him in honing his craft.

Gangster Squad sees Ryan Gosling star as Jerry Wooters, a sergeant in the LAPD who is tasked with bringing down a criminal syndicate run by mob boss Mickey Cohen. Gosling is joined by frequent co-star Emma Stone, marking the second of three projects that the two actors have been in together.

While it includes some good action and a terrific cast, Gangster Squad ultimately couldn't live up to the other, more popular entries in Ryan Gosling's filmography. The film mustered a measly $104 million before largely disappearing from public consciousness.

Surprisingly, Jacob finds himself in a committed relationship shortly after, only later realizing that he is dating Cal's daughter.

Crazy, Stupid, Love was particularly successful for a romantic comedy, a genre that doesn't typically bring in large box office earnings. The film neared $150 million in its total gross in addition to a warm reception from audiences and critics. To this day, Crazy, Stupid, Love is hailed as one of the better modern rom-com, particularly for its twist ending that will surprise most people on their first viewing.
