Steve D Love Story was far funnier. A great year!" A hot Android falls in love with a space cowboy by the name of Thor as those are the only two aboard a space vessel who are not under suspended animation. This is strictly forbidden, as loving a machine in that manner can cause blindness. The attempts at humour are rarely successful, and that is a problem as this is supposed to be a parody of sorts. The Confucius-like, opium-addictted character was rather entertaining. The effects are no worse than "Battlestar Galactica"; pair this with "Flash Gordon" for a proper immersion in campy space sci-fi released 1980. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review william k Although this sci-fi film tries to be a genre parody, it is thoroughly ridiculous and pretty bad in all departments; and it's not funny at all. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review kevin c This is a movie that I could see having a cult following, as it's a weird hybrid movie that was likely made in response to the success of Star Wars. This is a strange sci-fi comedy filled with odd characters and situations. Dorothy Stratten stars as the titular Galaxina. This is a movie that would be much more enjoyable with a drunken crowd.
