Suits star Gabriel Macht wears Aussie wife Jacinda Barrett's Sportsgirl top in parody video

Suits star Gabriel Macht has too much time on his hands as he continues to quarantine during the coronavirus lockdown.

Ditching his renowned Harvey Specter look from the cancelled series Suits, the actor was rocking a whole new wardrobe on Instagram — and we have his Aussie wife, Jacinda Barrett, to thank for gifting us the parody video.

"This is what happens when you spend too much time inside the house," the actress captioned the video on May 25 (US time). "We've been trying on new looks. I was surprised by this one from @iamgabrielmacht at first, but I must say, it's growing on me. Thoughts? Improvements? Suggestions? Still in the early stages of adaptation so all input is welcome."

In the five-minute clip, Macht, 48, is seen wearing an oversized Sportsgirl T-shirt from the popular Aussie retailer, which he styled with skimpy shorts, a bandana headband and knee-high socks.

"There's so much VSCO girl stuff going around and I thought why does it have to be just for girls? Why can't it be for guys too?" Macht said on camera in reference to the VSCO girl term, which generally means a teen who posts trendy pictures of herself using the  VSCO photo-editing app.

It's all fine and well, except the Sportsgirl top was special to Brisbane-born Barrett, who had passed the tee down to their daughter Satine, 12. The couple also share son Luca, six.

"I gave that to my daughter because I wore that when I was 14 years old," 47-year-old Barrett said in the background.

"And you've got my shorts on. With underwear?" she joked.

Suits wrapped last year in September, just one year after Meghan Markle left the show to join the Royal family. But after nine seasons playing the confident and often arrogant  Harvey Specter in the series, Macht was ready for new adventures.

"I feel I've put some creative good into the world and now I want to put some creative heart, more focus and energy into [being with] my wife and my family," he told TV Insider ahead of Suits' final episode.

"And explore some other interests that I might have. You know, I think when you're in Harvey's head for so long, you sort of split in some ways. And so I'm looking forward to being in Gabriel's mind."

And perhaps also in his wife's wardrobe…
