Frostburg State University Reviews
Rating 3.55 out of 5 1,006 reviews
At Frostburg State University I am learning how to properly manage my time as I have a lot more free time to complete assignments and meet with my professors if needed. My professors make themselves very accessible to the students for office hours if someone needs help and they make sure to help each student retain the material. The campus life is very welcoming as each person is nice to one another, friendly, and cares about each other's well being. I think one element about Frostburg State University that I would like to see change is the quality of food served in the dining hall. Once they make this change I think the University will be the perfect choice for incoming college freshmen.
Frostburg State Univeristy has been a great school for me to attend and atain an education from. For my first year and a half of college I attended a place in West Virginia. It wasn’t what I wanted from my college so I decided to transfer to Frostburg State. I have lived in the area of the university my entire life and have always heard about it being a great place to attend school. Safe to say the school has backed up those claims. My professors here have been twice as helpful compared to the ones I had at my old school. The professors feel as if they really want you to succeed and will do almost anything to help you advance. The opportunities to help you with your studies is tremendous as well such as the size of the library or facilities with places designated to studying. There are also amazing people I have met here that I have made ultimate bonds with for life. Overall Frostburg State University is everything I’ve wanted from my school and couldn’t ask for anything else.
Dorms are pretty run down. In two years there has been a lot of turnover in my department, like a revolving door of teachers. Wifi doesn't work well, even if you need it for class.
