English: Duchess Frederica of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (3 March 1778 – 29 June 1841), Duchess of Cumberland and later Queen of Hanover, was the consort of Ernest Augustus of Hanover, the fifth son and eighth child of George III of the United Kingdom and Queen Charlotte.

But first she was married to Prince Louis Charles of Prussia, second son and third child of Frederick William II of Prussia and Frederika Louisa of Hesse-Darmstadt. After his early death she married Prince Friedrich of Solms-Braunfels (1770-1814) and after being widowed again in 1814, her first cousin Ernest Augustus I of Hanover in 1815.

Frederica/Friederike is bestknown because of a famous sculpture by Johann Gottfried Schadow, showing her and her sister Luise von Mecklenburg-Strelitz as young girls. (the so-called Prinzessinnengruppe)
