La ciudad de los monstruos
not ideal representation (and definitely feels like the tv movie that it is) but i remember feeling like i’d struck gold while channel surfing in the middle of the night as a little disabled kid and seeing it for the first time. and it’s fitting that this came out the same year as girl interrupted because i’ve always associated them in my mind. it’s on youtube for anyone interested
Holy hell, can someone please make a movie that’s this, but good? Sometimes you take your disability representation where you can get it, especially when it’s got this much honesty and solidarity wrapped into it.
Can’t believe Samantha Mathis killed her grandma with a porno joke in this 😆
