The Librarians”, “Just Married”, at “Taxi.”

“Ang dramatic answer to that question is of course when we’re embarking on this project hindi namin alam na mawawala ang franchise (ABS-CBN), mawawala kami sa ere. This was just part of ABS-CBN International initiatives and earlier on na-appoint na ako to be head of international production and co-production because we were really go full blast with this.

“And then ang nangyari nabuo ito in just the nick of time natapos and then nag lockdown, shutdown. Buti na lang we have the 10 precious episodes na nabuo at puwede ng ipalabas sa US at puwedeng ipalabas sa Pilipinas at the time na napakahirap nang magawa ngayon.

“So, napaka-importatante because natupad ‘yung vision ng ating Chairman na si Carlo Katigbak that for us to learn from our Hollywood counterpart, great show runners, producers, writers and to be able to come up with projects with this kind of ambition.

Kuwento ni Ces, “I think ang isa sa pinakana-appreciate ko na process na dinaanan naming lahat sa proyektong ito is the process of audition kasi sa pago-audtion, you make sure that the right people will get the roles, even sa mga bit players pinapa-audition nilang lahat which is why pagdating nilang lahat sa mismong shooting you’re confident na kayang gawin ang trabaho.

There are pros and cons here. Sila (foreign actors and production) kasi kapag nagta-trabaho sila gusto nila walang nagsasalita, tahimik lahat naka-focus. Pero ang nakita ko naman na edge rin naman natin (Filipino actors) minsan ‘yung ginagawa nating pagsasaya sa set nakakatulong din ‘yun para pag pagod ka na, so in other words both sides kasi there was a time si Christian parang naano siya kapag maingay na nagaganap, pero towards the middle of the shoot hanggang sa pa-ending nakikita ko nakikipag ungguyan na rin siya. So, in other words may nakita rin akong give and take sa Filipino at sa Hollywood stars.”
