Randy Sayre Obituary

Randy Miles Sayre, Sr. "Muskie", 66, of Shelbyville, passed away November 22, 2022 at his residence.

He was born August 9, 1956 in New Castle, IN to Marion Sayre and Mary Kay Oldham "Katie".

Randy worked construction for 35 years and at PK USA for 8 years before retiring. He was a lifetime resident of Shelbyville. He attended Shelbyville High School.

Randy served in the US Marine Corp. from 1973 to 1977. When he was in the military he was stationed at Fort Lejeune, NC and over seas in Okinawa. Randy previously lived in Florida and Ohio.

He enjoyed playing the harmonica and playing music with friends. Randy also loved playing horseshoes with family and friends and being outdoors. He loved bonfires and growing vegetable gardens. Nothing made Randy happier than spending time with his family and making people laugh.

He married Victoria (Bissell) Sayre, and she survives. Randy is also survived by his son, Randy Sayre, JR. (wife, Jeannie), his daughter, Melissa Smith (husband, Orgie "Dude"), his granddaughter, Corrinna Coleman (husband, Bradley), his grandson, DeShaun French, his granddaughter, Kyland Sayre, his grandson, Donta Smith, his great-grandchildren, Alison, Brody, Claire, Derek, and Baby E, his brothers, Timothy Sayre, Jamie Sayre (husband, Bop), and Joe Sayre (wife, Clerice). Randy loved all his family including his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, his grandfather, Frank Sayre, and his grandmother, Mary Sayre.

Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, Stuart Parks, and Darin Schutt are honored to serve Randy's family.
