Frances Irene Parrott

Frances Irene (Berry) Parrott, age 85, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 29, 2022 following a brief hospitalization where she was surrounded by her loving family. Frances was a loving and faithful servant of the Lord who had a way of making everyone feel special. She was a loving wife, mother, Mamaw, Great Mamaw and sister. She was the rock for her family - home base! Her children adored her and looked forward to the many family gatherings hosted at Mom’s. Frances had a gentle loving spirit unless her children were threatened or hurting and then she became a left handed, brown eyed momma bear, and a force to reckon with. Frances loved her family and in her final days managed to assure each of her children that they “were the favorite.” Frances was a long-time member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she worked with vacation bible school and in the kitchen for many years. Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, George Parrott; parents - Clyde and Velma Gorman; grandchild - Kassidy Faith Parrott; sister - Mary Kathryn Irwin (and Bill) Irwin, brothers in law – Bud Parrott, Jim Parrott, Paul Parrott and sister - Charlotte Valentine. Survived by her children; Debbie (and Mark) Humphrey, Donna Bodenheimer, Danny (and Krisden) Parrott, Jeff (and Kristin) Parrott; Grandchildren: Kevin (Ashley) Humphrey, Brad Humphrey, Jill (Beau) Baker, Joshua (Ashton) Bodenheimer, Amber (David) McNeil, Kayla (Ohmar) McConkey, Brandon Parrott, Kade Parrott and Weston Parrott; Great-grandchildren: Addison, Markaylynn and McKinley Humphrey; Gavin and Stella McNeil, Georgiana and Austin Baker, Eli and Emilia Bodenheimer; her very favorite brother and sister in law, Harold and Shara Gorman and many nieces and nephews. Please join the family for a graveside service on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 1:00pm at Woodlawn Cemetery with Dr. George Hollander officiating. Pallbearers will be Danny Parrott, Jeff Parrott, Josh Bodenheimer, Brandon Parrott, Beau Baker, and David McNeil.
