Her brief cameo role in The Pink Panther as I am sure many feel will go down in history with her song & samba dance. She was a girl of extra ordinary talent with a great voice. I was 9 when I seen the Pink Panther. She will alway be remembered!!!!

Dear Fran, I just found this guest book tonight for you, so thought I would take just a moment to thank you for all the great years of entertainment and grace you brought to us all! I loved your singing ever since I was a youngster and what a beautiful lady you were! You were definitely a 'one of a kind' special talent, and losing you was a sore loss for us all, indeed. My mother grew up with Fran in the San Francisco Bay Area, before Fran became a celebrity. We lost touch with her, but were very close to her mother and father, Aunt Esther and Uncle Steve. They were friends to my grandparents. I used to get Stephanie's hand me downs, and my Dad got some of Dick Hayme's shirts. My Mom was always proud of Fran and wished they could've kept in touch. Fran was a very special woman and wonderful vocalist. I was her pianist, accompanist for many years and we became so in sync musically, we breathed together. When she performed on stage, Fran could keep an audience entranced with her singing and statuesque beauty. Through the years we also became close friends and Fran would keep me laughing with her outrageous comments. Needless to say, I am so thankful that our paths crossed in this lifetime.

A gorgeous woman who lived a fascinating life filled with love. Perfect.

Monday it'll be 5 months since you departed and thursday 18th I'll be celebrating your birthday, I'll have a killer Margarita (nothing like you used to prepare for us) You'll be here with me in Spirit and I'll rise my glass to you! Ms. Jeffries' song in "The Pink Panther" is one of my favorite incidental music scenes. She was simply stunning.

I am saddened to hear of Fran's passing, I remember her from when I was a kid, such a beautiful woman. My heart goes out to Stephanie for her sadness with the loss of her mother...

As a young child during the 60's, I remember France Jeffries as a wonderful and vibrant singer. She was full of life and comical. She was loved and appreciated by many. My condolences to the family and friends who will miss her.
