United States President Joe Biden could not make it to England for King Charles III's coronation, but his wife, first lady Jill Biden, and granddaughter Finnegan Biden attended in his place.

The two coordinated looks for the royal event, and Finnegan stole the show with her breezy pastel yellow dress with a matching cape specially made for her by Markarian. She paired the piece with matching suede pumps and a headband designed by Markarian collaborator Gigi Burriswith featuring tulle roses (the official flower of Washington, D.C.) on one side. She additionally carried a butter-colored handbag by Mark Cross and wore gold jewelry. Her makeup look was a smoky dark eye, and she styled her hair in relaxed waves.

Finnegan arrived at Westminster Abbey this morning with grandmother Jill, who wore a cornflower blue version of her ensemble. Together. they represented the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

The first lady wore a lovely skirt suit comprised of a pencil skirt and jacket with an asymmetrical front and no buttons. She added a matching blue headband with a bow in her hair, which she wore loosely curled, and completed the ensemble with beige pumps and a matching clutch.

The pair were seated next to Olena Zelenska, wife of Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky for the ceremony at Westminster Abbey. Ahead of the ceremony, Dr. Biden retweeted a photo of herself alongside Princess Kate and Zelenska at Friday's Buckingham Palace reception for world leaders and dignitaries. For the caption she simply wrote, "We stand with Ukraine."

Jill arrived in England late Thursday evening and began her packed schedule of events yesterday, as she met with Akshata Murty, wife of British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, at 10 Downing Street.
