i watched this on BET while donating plasma and there was full audience commentary frm all the other baddies watching it w me. tbh it was cute and helped pass tha time. probz gonna watch it again soon coz it was silly vibes.

Weekend at Bernie's meets a BET original series, Fall Girls chronicles the tale of four women who, after a night of hard partying, discover their (white) tech boss has died in their hotel room.
This is something you go into with relatively low expectations. It's not terribly remarkable in its awkwardness, rough performances or dead-on-arrival humor, but it's not offensively bad either (or I can't find the will to really hate it). It's just a normal bad that makes you lament the lost potential of an otherwise interesting premise, poorly executed.
If nothing else, watch it for the climax of the film. It not only sabotages its own premise, but the script does that thing where it hand-waves the consequences of the entire story with a "Everyone Lives, No One Dies" plot twist that is absolutely ridiculous to be so casually delivered.
You know what? Not as bad as I had predicted. Shout out to Tal for giving me the DVD.
Another film produced by Marques Houston, well known to the African American community. A former member of the well loved R&B boy band B2K and a well regarded solo R&B artist. He's quickly becoming the Tyler Perry of b-movies starring black reality TV stars.
The best way to describe this film is a black version of Weekend at Bernies starring a few highly adored reality TV stars from Love and Hip Hop (Amara La Negra, Paris) and Basketball Wives (Tami Roaman whose smirk could sink a thousand ships). The film clocks in at 80 minutes, but it almost feels like two hours. A few of the black male actors are also from Love and Hip Hop.
