Outrageous American reality series FBoy Island - where three women have to guess which man sleeps around the most - is headed to Australia

Another reality show could be hitting Australian shores soon.

According to TV Tonight, HBO Max's dating series FBoy Island is being shopped around Down Under.

However, it's unclear if there are plans to create an Australian version of the series, or if the original American show will be aired on a network here.

Caroline Swift, Warner Bros. Australia Head of Entertainment told TV Tonight: 'We’re shopping around FBoy Island, which is brilliant.

'It’s HBO Max’s highest rated non-scripted launch in the last five years. Its central premise is "Can three female protagonists pick the FBoys out of a group of guys?" Basically weed them out,' she continued.

'It’s as much a guessing game as it is a search for a genuine non-FBoy to fall in love with. It’s great.'

Fboy Island originally aired in the States back in July of 2021.

It received positive reviews from TV critics, who praised it for being a self-aware and self-deprecating take on the oversaturated dating show genre.

Despite the show's popularity, none of the couples that were formed on the series are currently together.

In August, FBoy Island was renewed for a second season.

The show introduces three women to 24 men, 12 looking for love and the other 12 self-proclaimed FBoys who are looking to make some quick cash.

According to the HBO Max, 'FBoy Island is a social experiment that asks an age-old question: can FBoys truly reform or do Nice Guys always finish last?'

Show host and comedian Nikki Glaser will return for the second season as well. She said she's excited to return, but that there is a negative aspect of the show's second season.

'I couldn’t be happier about returning to Fboy Island for season two. The only downside is that it confirms my greatest fear: that there are more than 12 Fboys on planet earth.'

The show's renewal does not come as a shock given the show's positive reception. HBO Max revealed that FBoy Island had the biggest launch for a Max Original reality series this year.
