In 2024, CMP Pistol Matches will include Air Pistol National Championships, Small Arms Firing School (SAF), Rimfire Pistol Matches and Centerfire Pistol Matches. Also included are National Trophy Matches as well as GSSF Glock National Challenge, Military/Police Pistol Matches and 1911 As Issued Matches. Camp Perry has been hosting major marksmanship competitions since the turn of 20th century*. The National Matches include a bullseye pistol competition, as well as the rifle competitions. As part of the CMP National Championships, bullseye pistol competitions can bring up to a thousand competitors each summer to Camp Perry.
