Fifteen cars have been involved in a horror crash on Sydney's M4 motorway with commuters warned they'll be facing major delays on their way to work.
Two of the three westbound lanes were closed on the M4 near the Cumberland Highway off-ramp in South Wentworthville after the collision on Thursday morning.
Emergency services including ambulance crews are at the scene assessing three patients for minor injuries.

The two lanes have since reopened but delays are expected throughout the morning.

Meanwhile one of Melbourne's busiest freeways was also closed after a crash.
Melburnians face a lengthy commute to work on Thursday morning following a collision involving multiple vehicles, including a truck on the EastLink at Wantirna South near the Burwood Highway.
All northbound lanes were closed to clear the debris with motorists urged to avoid the area if possible.
All lanes have since reopened but one truck remained in the emergency lane waiting to be towed.
Live traffic from the freeway shows long queues of traffic snaking back for kilometres.
