It was my first time trying the restaurant and had heard great things. The food was good but we asked for no nuts because the person I was with had an allergy. They served us a nut dish and we had an allergic reaction. Thankfully it wasn't life threatening. They din't offer a discount or any way to try and make up for the issue. I won't be back.

The food at Cumberland was outstanding. From the small and mid size plates to the main, all were delicious. I would highly recommend this place. I know I'll be back!

We were seated right at the stairs and there was a loose floor board. Every time the servers walked past it moved my chair. It’s a very high traffic area. Other that this the food & service was amazing.

Amazing food, super flavourful. Definitely coming back again. The beef tartare, chicken wing, and sujelbi were great. The Ssam is a MUST order!

Lovely restaurant and good services. Me and my friends has a really nice time. The steak dishes we have there is also melt in your mouth quality, very tender and juicy. We can clearly see the effort in the dishes and the ambiance of the restaurant is very nice and comfy. The service there also very accommodating to our every single need. Will definitely come back again.

It's been consistently great - the food, service, and experience you'll get here. Food is modern Korean - expect some twist and delicious flavors. Service - young team, friendly and warm. Lots of cocktail options as well, though I generally prefer wine which they also have. Highly recommended as a date place or just a foodie night with friends. Can't go wrong with one of their ssam platters. For appetizers- personally love the potato pancakes, albacore tuna, beef tartare. I loved their bugak but it's no longer in the menu. Small request: please bring back the sweet potato donuts & bugak hehe and also that fish crudo with the ginger carrot sauce

The food was fine, however I'd say the food at Korean restaurants near Spadina have better food for better price. The service started out good, and we got completely ignored in the second half of the meal

Of our four dishes & two desserts our table tried, I most highly recommend the sujebi pasta--a cozy well-composed dish in which potato played an unexpected role--and the succulent stuffed chicken wings. The mul-hwe looked attractive but tasted more like a summer dish than a winter one, while the gem lettuce salad was pleasant but not a wow.The desserts were on the sweet side, with the roasted brown rice icecream being topped with giant versions of what tasted like Kellogs cornflakes.
