Empowered is the fifth extended play by Katy Perry. It was released on November 3, 2020 through Capitol Records.
The EP's ending track, "What Makes a Women" also included in her sixth studio album, Smile, which was released on August 28, 2020 also as the ending track of the album's standard edition. Also featured in the EP were Roar and Firework, both were released as singles on August 10, 2013 and October 26, 2010 respectively.
