A Connecticut investment banker has jumped to his death from a rooftop bar in New York City, a day after filing for divorce.
Dale Cheney, 46, committed suicide on Wednesday at 6.30pm, leaping from Bar 54 at the Hyatt Centric in Times Square.
Cheney, a father-of-three, filed for divorce from his wife a day earlier.
In October, aspiring model Elizabeth Gaglewski took her own life at the same bar.
The bar said in a statement that it was 'truly heartbroken', but it is yet to confirm if it will make any changes to its outdoor deck to prevent any additional suicides.

'We are truly heartbroken at the situation that occurred this evening outside our rooftop bar, and we are keeping the victim’s family and friends in our thoughts and hearts,' general manager Tom Bundell said.
Cheney's family in New Canaan, Connecticut, declined to comment on Thursday.
The New York Post reports that he and his wife had filed for divorce just a day before he took his life, and that police previously responded to their home twice in 2008 on domestic disturbance calls.
One of the arguments was over finances, according to the Post.
Dale and his wife Lauren live in a sprawling home in New Canaan, an affluent Connecticut suburb. They bought their home in 2018 for $1.6million.

His death comes just four months after 26-year-old Elizabeth Gaglewski jumped to her death from the same bar.
At the time, friends told DailyMail.com that Elizabeth had seemed 'happy' before leaving the family home in Queens.
They added that she had 'struggled to cope' after the death of her father, and had suffered with depression.
She landed on a 27th floor balcony, but did not survive.
