Primera vez y fue de cumpleaños, me regalaron un pastelito con su vela, super rico. El vitral no se ve de noche, pero la vista hacia el atrio es muybuena. Solo las mesas de dos personas estar pegadas a el balcon, tomar en cuenta, pero tienen un pequeño espacio para que te tomes tu foto con fondo del centro de la ciudad de mexico. La comida estaba buena pero no espectacular. El ambiente es muy bonito y agradable, puedes platicar. No hay estacionamiento o bueno estaba lleno, la mejor opcion para llegar es en transporte publico, mas comodo y no andar batallando con el tiempo.

The Gran Hotel has a spectacular interior and the view from the rooftop terrace is spectacular, overlooking Zocalo as it does. The meal (lunch) we had there would have been worth any price to give us the excuse to swan around the Gran Hotel. As it was the meal was very good but not great, the service was friendly and excellent, especially Maria, and the drinks were reasonably priced for such a lovely establishment.

HORRIBLE ATENCIÓN! Cero disposición a solucionar problemas causados por ellos, falta total de empatía, necios, no escuchan a sus clientes y no les interesa atenderlos. Reservé con una amiga el día anterior por Internet, revisamos en detalle los horarios porque nos interesaba comer (almorzar), horarios además confirmados en el correo que ellos me enviaron con la confirmación de reserva. Pues bien, llegamos allá y los horarios los habían modificado, en la hora de nuestra reserva ahora solo habia brunch. No les importó que sus horarios estaban mal informados, no quisieron transar ni darnos alternativas, lo único que querían era que pagaramos el buffet del brunch siendo que quedaban solo 30 minutos y además la comida/almuerzo a la carta. Cualquier opción para esperar este nuevo horario de comida nos valía, preguntamos por guacamole o lo que sea de picoteo con una copa, mientras se cumplía el horario nuevo de comida, que pagaríamos por supuesto... y no, solo nos querían cobrar el buffet. Realmente una PÉSIMA EXPERIENCIA, rozando la mala educación, no acorde a un hotel internacional y de buena categoría en teoría.

Excelente servicio y la comida deliciosa! Los camareros muy amables y atentos hicieron de un cumpleaños algo maravilloso. Vista espectacular al zócalo de la ciudad, si hay eventos o preparaciones para eventos igual y el ruido que llega del zócalo incomode pero para mi no fue así.

Tuve una maravillosa experiencia en la Terraza. Mi mamá siempre había querido visitar el Hotel y la lleve por su cumpleaños. El host nos recibió muy cálidamente y nos platicó sobre la historia del Hotel y su hermoso diseño. Los meseros fueron super atentos además de que le llevaron un pastelito sorpresa a mi mamá con velita y todo. La comida exquisita y quedamos muy satisfechos. Muchas gracias!

We had the most amazing experience at La Terraza. The view is outstanding, to the point of bringing on emotion. It was my friends birthday and we were treated to a happy birthday song in both English and Spanish and the entire restaurant joined in. Seriously one of the best restaurant experiences ever. Oh, and the food was delicious too.

We had the most delicious meal and phenomenal service. For a restaurant in one of the most touristy areas of Mexico City one does not expect much and boy were we wrong. Everything we had was so fresh and tasted amazing. They offer a table side hot sauce cart that blew our minds. And last but not least their margaritas were outstanding. Highly recommend it.

The view is amazing. That’s it. Everything else was mediocre. We waited for 10 minutes and had to ask the front desk to calm upstairs since calling the hostess desk resulted in the phone ringing two feet from me with no one to answer. I find the prices outrageous for the very mediocre food. Cocktails were good. Our server was great. On top of it all. The pistachio “pesto” was liquid. The pulpo pastor was tough and flavorless with more pineapple than pulpo. Def not worth the price. We might go back for the brunch and because it’s a short walk from our home but overall meh. An overall upgrade is needed to truly be competitive in this culinary meca.

Must be the best seats in town overlooking the square. Book early to get the balcony seats at sunset. Magical and very special. Food was good. We had the summer menu. Excellent value 850 pesos for 4 courses. All were good and interesting

Our waitstaff did not have a high level of sophistication, presentation, or service! In other words, the staff seemed amateur. We let it be known, and their manager did a great job with service recovery, but by then it had already affected our overall experience. Later, a violent storm swept through the Zocalo bringing rain and strong wind through the restaurant. The management evacuated us and brought us downstairs. I think given the circumstances they handled this situation very well! Unfortunately, this just added to an already mediocre dining experience but to no fault of the restaurant. There are so many dining options in CDMX, and we won’t be returning.

Precioso lugar para captar los mejores momentos fotográficos del centro histórico. La comida y el servicio del restaurante fueron muy buenos.
