I was hesitant to make the purchase, but since it was recorded and broadcast in 1980 from El Paso, Texas while on his 1980 'Flush The Fashion' tour, I had to give it a shot. There are many songs on this live set that just aren't on other live shows...I really enjoyed Alice's New Wave/Punk stylings on 'FTF' and was not disappointed when I found this recording of many songs I'd not found on any other live recordings. If you are only interested in Alice's 'hit' songs, well there are several included here, but many more non-hit songs than any other live collection I've found.
Track Listing: 1) Instrumental Intro; 2) Grim Facts (Flush The Fashion '80); 3) Go To Hell (Goes To Hell '76); 4) Guilty (Goes To Hell '76); 5) Pain (Flush The Fashion '80); 6) Talk, Talk (Flush The Fashion '80); 7) I'm Eighteen (Love It To Death '71); 8) Gutter Cats vs The Jets (Schools Out '72); 9) Clones (Flush The Fashion '80); 10) Nuclear Infected (Flush The Fashion '80); 11) Billion Dollar Babies/I Love The Dead (Billion Dollar Babies '73); 12) Instrumental Jam; 13) Dance Yourself To Dance (Goes To Hell '76); 14) Only Women Bleed (Welcome To My Nightmare '75); 15) Road Rats (Lace And Whiskey '77); 16) Sick Things (Billion Dollar Babies '73); 17) Is It My Body (Killer '71); 18) Devils Food/Black Widow (Welcome To My Nightmare '75); 19) Elected (Billion Dollar Babies '73); 20) School's Out (School's Out '72).

Here we get to hear Flush the Fashion as it was supposed to sound on vinyl-great crisp versions of these new wave songs. Guilty is just so impressive as is the sublime Gutter Cat-so much better than on trashes the world.
Also impressing are Dance Yourself To Death-and-Headlines-Alice was introducing an Elvis like persona to a new era. The versions of his classics though are from THE Alice Cooper Show-but this is still a great release which if copied on vinyl will i hope use the imagery of the era.
As successful as it eventually was the metal reinvention was that bit contrived and for me pales alongside this dangerously brave period of Alices career.
I would say at least a quarter of the tracks on this cd are just inserts and edits from The Alice Cooper Show album hence the deduction of 2 stars.
