The cabinet media center denied reports on the closure of El Nasr Girls' College (EGC) in Alexandria over a financial crisis.

In a statement released on Saturday 05/04/2023, the media center said it has contacted the Ministry of Education and Technical Education which denied such reports and termed them as "groundless".

It reiterated that the college works normally and both teachers and students have been attending their classes regularly without facing any problems.

The media center also urged media outlets and social media followers to be accurate in spreading news in order to avoid stirring up the public opinion.
