Principal's Message

Dear Edgemont Families,

What an exciting opportunity to continue to serve our Edgemont community!

The Moreno Valley Unified School District has been my home for the past five years, and I have had the honor of working with remarkable and dedicated individuals invested in students' futures. 

My two decades in education have taught me so much about the importance of the human connection. Having worked with students, parents, teachers, classified staff, and administrative personnel as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, site/district/county professional development specialist, Assistant Principal, and now Principal, I understand that everyone contributes to the life of a child. 

Edgemont is strengthened by its partnerships with parents, teachers, classified staff, and community organizations. It takes a village to love, teach, and take care of our future generations of 21st century citizens. I invite all families to take part in our parent committees and lead discussions that impact student programs at the site, ELAC (English Learner Advisory Committee), SSC (School Site Council), and AAPAC (African American Parent Advisory Committee).

I look forward to working together to make this a wonderful school year!
