East Texas Baptist University Reviews
Rating 3.72 out of 5 472 reviews
My overall experience has been fantastic. If you are a Christian and are looking to grow in your faith this is the place to come. The entire school is so friendly, and they make it so easy for everyone to interact and become friends. All of the athletics and athletic facilities are fantastic as an athlete myself. The cafeteria food is not the best most of the time, sometimes it is not bad but, most of the time the food is not good at all, and I am not a picky eater. ETBU does have a chick fil a on campus which is amazing and comes in very clutch in lots of scenarios. The gym for all students is very mediocre and could be improved if you are active and not an athlete you may not love the gym on campus as it does not have the most equipment and the stuff it has is not the best. The teachers for the most part are amazing and very personal since it is a small school. You are genuinely taken care of and they care about your learning. Campus is very small but, nice and great to walk around.
I absolutely love East Texas Baptist University. I love being apart of the many events they have. They have women groups, men groups, and always something fun going on. My professors are so kind and understanding. They do anything and everything to help you learn, grow, and succeed. I admire the tutoring program my college offers. They prioritize faith oriented learning and activities and provide everything you need to do your best. Every staff member in every area is so kind and welcoming. One thing i am not very fond of is the attendance rule. This is because if you can’t make it to class due to sickness or athletics, it affects your overall grade in the class. This is frustrating because even if i have all A’s on assignment, I could still fail the class if I am unable to attend. Overall, I love this school and I am so glad I made the decision to attend.
Great campus and wonderful people. The campus is beautiful and the professors and staff are very friendly. They have good programs and a wide variety of majors to choose from. Tuition cost is expensive but there are plenty of scholarships available to help lower it. It is very easy to get around campus and it feels very safe on the grounds. The enrollment process was fairly simple and did not take too much of an effort to complete. Their website is easy to navigate and has almost all information you would need in order to learn more about the college. The professors are very personable and want to help you succeed and do your best while there. My experience with the staff has been very excellent. They are all very sweet people who care about their jobs and help you every step of the way. I would not change much at ETBU except perhaps the cost of tuition though I understand why it is high. Overall I have had a wonderful experience at East Texas Baptist University.
