During COVID my family moved from NY to NJ. EOCHS didn’t have the best reputation on paper, but it has turned out to be a great experience. Coming from a school with 400 max to experience 1600 kids roaming was a bit of an adjustment. My parents met with the Principal and Vice Principal prior to attending and they both confirmed the direction, safety and responsibility of the school to foster a great relationship. They have not disappointed. School pride is illuminated throughout and I was also able to tap into my passion as a cheerleader. Academically I have always been an A student and the teachers and staff have motivated me to stay on task. Looking forward to attending college next year and continuing my pursuit of greatness.
The school is not the best but if you focus on your work you will get to know many lovely people. The teachers are kind and highly involved in pushing students if they show interest. The bathrooms and lunches need improvement but overall, the school has teachers and administration that care for and push their students
