BREAKING: Jimmie Allen’s Buffalo Concert Canceled, Venue Issues Statement

Jimmie Allen will no longer be performing at Buffalo’s Outer Harbor on Sunday (Sept. 4). 

The country superstar was originally set to take the stage at The Buffalo Waterfront this weekend, however, the concert has now been canceled by the venue.

The Buffalo Waterfront took to social media to share the unfortunate news with fans and issued the following statement.

“The Buffalo Waterfront has made the difficult decision to cancel the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino Outer Harbor Concert Series featuring Jimmie Allen on Sunday, September 4, 2022,” the venue’s statement began. “We are truly sorry for all fans who are disappointed by this decision.”

Ticketholders will be refunded automatically for their tickets from the point of purchase within 5-7 business days. 

“Thank you for your understanding,” the statement concluded.

Earlier this summer, Jimmie Allen released his personal new album, Tulip Drive. The 17-song project serves as a tribute to his family as Tulip Drive is the name of the street his beloved late grandmother grew up on. 

The album includes his latest single, “Down Home,” as well as the song “You Won’t Be Alone,” which features his son, Aadyn. 

“It’s the first record where every song I wrote is like directly tied into a personal experience, or I found songs that tied into a personal experience and it had to be very specific. So every song here, literally songs I didn’t write, felt like were written for me,” Allen shared in an interview with Today’s Country Radio with Kelleigh Bannen. “And I wanted to have this record be the first one where it was a real personal record. Because all the songs before, love songs, whatever were written about other people’s relationships, TV shows. This one, I’m writing about relationships from high school, some from college, and some from after college.” 

Allen is gearing up for a busy fall season as he is set to appear on NBC’s The Voice as a Battle Round Advisor to Blake Shelton’s Team Blake. 

“He is just an incredible performer, and he is so focused on what he does and he is clearly such a huge fan of music,” Shelton recently shared with Access on his excitement of having Allen join his team.

Additionally, Allen will soon guest star in Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas, which will also feature Miley Cyrus, Jimmy Fallon, Willie Nelson, Billy Ray Cyrus and Zach Williams. The film will air on NBC later this year.

He’s also preparing to hit the road with Carrie Underwood on her massive headlining trek, dubbed the Denim & Rhinestones Tour, which kicks off on October 15 in Greenville, South Carolina.

The 43-city trek will run through March 17, 2023. Tickets for the Denim & Rhinestones Tour are on sale now HERE.

Allen recently opened up about the opportunity to tour with Underwood and said he believes her audience will embrace his unique musical style.

“I feel like with Carrie’s audience, I’ll be able to do my country stuff, my more pop-leaning stuff, my more Christian-leaning music,” Allen told E-Online co-hosts Justin Sylvester and Loni Love. “I feel like I can be myself in its entirety musically without feeling like, ‘You know what? Maybe we should do this,’ even though I don’t ever do that.”

Jimmie Allen’s next scheduled tour date is set for Friday, September 2 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He’s also slated to perform on Saturday, September 3 in Meshoppen, Pennsylvania.
