The Dow Jones was down earlier today but as the day went on, buyers made many stocks winners. The stocks slowed down at the close but still finished positive. Leading the Dow Jones today is the fast-food giant McDonald's  (MCD)  that will be fighting many changes in customer habits dealing with the coronavirus. 

The Dow Jones is up a little under 1%, the S&P 500 is up under 1% and the Nasdaq is leading the way by gaining over 2% today. All of the major indices turned positive as we entered the afternoon of trading. The stock market needed these gains today after falling below 20,000 yesterday for the first time since Feb. 2017.
