The past with the present. This movie double platinum really shows the struggles a woman is faces with in making it to the top. Diana Ross plays a role that is very real and true to the point and not knowing that the past can come back to haunt her she leave her daughter and makes a life for herself. brandy comes in the picture as a talented young girl not knowing anything about her mom only to find that her mother is the famous singer that she herself loved...What will she do..... Great movie for the family and if you have a heart you can feel the pain inside....
This was a must have movie for me. I had seen it several years ago on VHS and wanted it on DVD. Thanks to a wonderful Ebay trader, I have it! I just loved the storyline; a mother and daughter that, due to circumstances, were separated when the daughter was just a baby. Upon reuniting, the strained relationship they encountered and how they overcame. Awsome movie! Reasonably priced, quick shipment and great quality. Thank you EBAY for having such awsome traders! Hats off to you!
Diana Ross did an excellent job in this movie. So real!!! Especially, Brandy playing her daughter. Lots of Hollywood drama...great movie.
