Stunning remastering by Joe Reguso of Scepter-era recordings. These are historically important works of American pop music and I'm glad that they are being preserved and made available on vinyl for new generations to discover. This package is odd to me - agree it could have been better presented for the price, perhaps most of the budget went to the mastering? And why the Warner Bros.replica-style label when all the songs were released on Scepter records? These things aside - I have not heard a better modern vinyl treatment of these songs.referencing The Dionne Warwick Collection - Her All-Time Greatest Hits (LP, Compilation, Reissue, Yellow) FRM-71000
I am really impressed with the sound on this pressing. Sounds much better than any other Dionne hits collection I've managed to collect on vinyl. I've loved this collection ever since the original Rhino CD came out in the 90's. Yes it's missing a few gems, but as a hits collection it's quite comprehensive. I actually think the printing of the sleeve is quite good - the text looks really sharp and the photo is a good reproduction of the CD artwork. Would've been nice on thicker stock I agree - and the paper inners let it down a bit for sure. Shame that it's such a high price point as any vinyl lover should have this in their collection.referencing The Dionne Warwick Collection - Her All-Time Greatest Hits (LP, Compilation, Reissue, Yellow) FRM-71000
Sounds very good for a FM release. I’m happily surprised there. However as the reviewer below mentioned, the sleeve is just garbage. For $60 it’s also really ridiculous that they included cheap paper inners.

Friday Music has put out a very nice vinyl pressing. Great separation, very clean. The bright yellow discs are an odd choice given it has nothing in common with the artwork, but they sound quite good—no noticeable surface noise straight of the jacket. Only minor complaint is the packaging: a pretty flimsy single sleeve houses the two records, which are shipped in generic white paper inners. At a ~$60 price point at release, I really expected a little more quality on the packaging presentation. The printing itself is better than some re-issues, but even a thicker stock would have been appreciated.- After 30 + years, this is still the go-to compilation for Dionne’s early career. Sound is superb, and all the hits are here.
