This is an easy and enjoyable walk in an urban area. We went on a Friday morning in December, so there weren't very many other people, just a couple runners, several cyclist, and a security guard patrolling the area. The pavement was dry except for a few puddles. We extended our walk by going on the Riverwalk and enjoying the view. We parked in the Milliken State Park lot which had lots of space this time of year, but fills up quickly on weekends and in the summer. Enjoyable any time of year!
It was a hot one today. The only negative was the amount of people accosting us with religious pamphlets. Literally following us & continuously trying to spread the word after we said “no thank you.” It needs to stop. Also today was the most amount of trash I’ve seen since starting to come here 2 years ago.
