Overview

I graduated as a dentist from the University of Manchester in 2004 and worked as a dentist in community, hospital and general practice until 2013 when I started specialist training in Dental Public Health. I completed my specialist training in 2017 and am now a researcher within the Faculty of Biological, Medical and Health Sciences.

I am currently undertaking a PhD entitiled "Water Fluoridation in Contemporary Populations". As part of this work I am the project lead for the LOTUS study. This is an NIHR Public Health Research Study looking at the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of water fluoridation for preventing dental treatments in adults.
