Born in Pretoria, South Africa, DeVille was drawn to martial arts and gymnastics from an early age. Growing up he was inspired by the work of Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee. After discovering the discipline of Parkour DeVille was cast in an international Coca Cola commercial in 2009 where he performed parkour stunts across the rooftops of Johannesburg. He went on to compete globally in parkour and represented South Africa at the Red Bull Art of Motion in the United States. After meeting the founders of Team Tempest, he was invited to become one of the first coaches at the esteemed Tempest Freerunning Academy in Los Angeles. Here DeVille worked and trained with some of the top stunt professionals in Hollywood and learned valuable knowledge and skills in performing and creating world-class action. Other notable shows he has performed on include HBO's Warrior, FOX's Raised by wolves, NBC's Blindspot, Netflix’s Black Mirror, and BBC's Troy: Fall Of A City. DeVille is a veteran of the Bollywood film industry too, having stunt doubled and performed in blockbusters like War, Pathan, Jawan, and Tiger 3. DeVille has had the opportunity to double for actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Ethan Hawke, Tiger Shroff, Richard Madden, Guy Pearce, Evan Peters and Barry Pepper.
