Neighborhood: Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

    Cool modern architecture
Saw a lot of pictures and had to see it in person. It’s a unique modern architectural structure in a city of historical architecture. Glad I went. It’s free. It’s a bit out of the way. Given the location I didn’t go to the roof. Much better locations to get views from up high. If you are going from old town to Vysehrad area worth a stop.

    What a beautiful building!
Great view from the rooftop bar. If you buy a drink you get access to the small outside terrace. The price to get in or a beer is the same price…so why not enjoy the view with a cold drink. Would go back if I was ever in Prague again.

View from the top is amazing!
This is probably Pragues funniest building. Its with one of the bridges and I reccomend to take the lift to the top. You have to buy a drink or beer to visit the view on the top, and its worth it! Fantastic service and one awesome view over the Prague from the top!

    Beautiful building
I didn't go to the viewing platform, just visited to have a look at this architectural marvel. Such an unusual shape for a building, easily visible from across the river as well. Very beautiful, and the bar at the top is supposed to be really good.

Not sure why the reviews are so good…
Based on our cab driver’s recommendation, we added this to our list in Prague. We took a tram from the Charles Bridge tower area for a couple stops. Having seen several Frank Gehry buildings, we were excited by the idea of a building modeled on Fred And Ginger! It is pretty underwhelming from the outside, although it might be more impressive at night? We went to the cafe on top and had a drink. The views were ok, but not really worth it for us.

    Ok
We've been to Prague several times and never bothered with this, we decided to give it a try this time. Building looks out of place in Prague with all its grand old architecture but its modern and quirky. Elevator up to 7th floor and rooftop balcony. Good views out over the river which are good. You have to buy a drink to go on rooftop or pay 100 kr. Worth a visit just to say you've done it.

Best views in town, don't overlook it, just a tram ride away from Old Prague
The cost to enter is the price of a drink. I had an express so my admission price was low. Other drinks are available. Plenty of outdoor seating for such a small place. A tram ride takes you a few blocks from the Dancing House.

    Nice to see if nearby
Worth seeing if you’re nearby but not worth travelling for. A fun building to look at but nothing spectacular. On a corner of a main road so not somewhere you’d want to stay for a while.

    Very Interesting Building
Must see when in Prague, very interesting building to look at when walking past. Amongst the old architecture this building stands out for its quirkiness. No entry fee for the building either whereas in so many other cities there would be an entry fee. Must buy a drink but with the price of a coffee or bottle of beer this is a bargain. Views out over the river and of Prague castle its a perfect place to have a drink for 30-60 minutes and take in the city from a different viewpoint.

    Excellent view
Excellent view from the sky bar, and unlike most sky bars in other cities, entry is free if you buy a drink. (The drinks are cheap.) We went around 2.30pm in December and it wasn’t too busy. The tables could do with a clean though.

If it's called the dancing house they should at least let you dance. The art is nice, and would make for a good vibe if they would actually play music and let you DANCE. We couldn't even get drinks without going to the restaurant upstairs, which will be described in another review. That place was alright but took forever to get to because the elevators are jammed with tourists.

Some prankster glued a bunch of euro coins to the pavement around the entrance. If you see those, don't go for it.

The Dancing House in Prague is one of the uniques modern day building in Europe. Interesting and worth discussing what the designer meant in their design. Nicknamed Fred and Ginger which i couldn't see why. Worth a stop just to see it with other sites in Prague or after touring Vysehrad and walking back to the center of Prague by the Danube river.

This building is located in the city center, on the banks of the Vltava river. It represents two dancers, called Fred and Ginger (Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers). I love the way Fred looks serious and almost still on the right, while Ginger is completely bending on him. She really seems to move. It is possible to climb up to the top of Fred, but I had no time to do it, unfortunately.

The Cafe on the top is a nice place to visit.
We spent time inside with a drink, getting a nice table with great view from behind the large windows. We have been here several times over the years...for the view .

We were lucky that it was not crowded and we could enjoy a nice break on our way to Vysehrad later in the day.

The outdoor terrace - the roof top - is relatively small, free to visit if you have made a purchase in the cafe.

For tourists with limited time, it is a bit out of the way.
If you are heading to Vysehrad and want to take a short break, I recommend it.

Go for the view ....

slightly overrated. me and my partner walked here at night. when we arrived we thought the building was good and appreciated the architecture but we were unsure if it was worth the walk from old town just to visit the building. however, we do not go inside so the bar and views from the top may have made up for this.

Never miss out this awesome and unique design platform of is unique, and especially striking in the city centre... Also, it is a modern building has daring, curvy outlines surrounded by historic architecture by Vlado Milunic and the American Frank Owen Gehry to initially name as the "Fred and Ginzger Building"... Worth of visit this awesome piece of art and passion😍😍😍

Lovely views from the top. The lift takes you to the top floor. On entrance you can either pay the entrance fee or purchase an item from the cafe. We purchased a drink which was the cheaper option for 80 czk (roughly £2.91). You can walk around the top and take amazing photos of the views. I think the entrance fee is 100 czk but just buy something cheap from the cafe

The view was wonderful! We had two rooms that was connected because I travelled with my almost adult children. The view was to the river and the castle was a little hard to see but you could still see in from the window. I thought we could get at straight view over it but they did not have the rooms we wanted.
Both rooms were big and clean. A bit basic though. Could have put some flowers in or some small decorations. The bed was big and very comfortable.
The location is excellent!
The breakfast was nice. Not big but enough and covered basically everything. Unfortunatelly they did not have much for my daughter who has celiaki. They had one kind of bread but no sweets. Although I wrote and asked in advance there was just a glutenfree bread but they made a nice omelette for my daughter so that was very nice.
There is a glutenfree pizza place round the corner that makes glutenfree croissants and other sweets. It would be very easy to have cooperations with them do satisfy the customers that can not eat gluten.
The view from the restaurant is nice. You can go up to the top for the view in the bar. You got one ticket per person to get up there but otherwise you have to pay. I find that strange that it is not included as much as you want during the stay at the hotel.
The reception is a bit strange. It is not like in normal hotels. It is also the entry into the building to go up to the top roof for anyone from the street as long as they pay and they also have offices to rent at some floors.
It is a nice hotel but it does not feel very luxury in the entrance. The girls in the breakfastroom are very nice and helpful and that man in the reception in the evening was very nice too.

The house itself is totally worth walking to from the Old Town. People do their weird poses here such as kicks, punches, earth-bending, you name it. People who do a cross-Europe trip see this marvelous piece of a building as practice to the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

The cafe at the base of the building is also pretty nice. I've had a hot chocolate there as well. Just to warm up during a cold day in Prague.
