Actress Cynthia Nixon is best known for playing Miranda Hobbes in the HBO comedy drama series Sex and the City (1998-2004), as well as the Sex and the City movies (2008, 2010), and the current spinoff series, And Just Like That… (2021 – ). But fans of HBO’s preiod drama seriesThe Gilded Age know Nixon for playing Ada Brook, the compassionate and caring younger sister of Agnes van Rhijn (played by Christine Baranski).
