With Leeds United heading into the final day of the Premier League season knowing that nothing but a win over Brentford will give them any chance of retaining their top-flight status in 2022/23, much at Elland Road is uncertain at present.

Indeed, with the threat of relegation looming large, Victor Orta's summer transfer plans will have been put on hold, while the futures of a number of the Whites' own first-team squad are also very much up in the air.

However, one player who looks certain to move onto pastures new at the end of the current campaign is Raphinha, with Barcelona reported to have already agreed personal terms with the Brazil international ahead of a potential €65m (£55m) summer switch.

As such, the 25-year-old is more than likely one player who Orta will be looking to replace in the summer market. Although, before splashing millions of pounds on a new signing, it would appear wise for Jesse Marsch to take a closer look at one of his more exciting prospects on the right-wing, in the shape of Crysencio Summerville.

Indeed, despite requesting to leave Elland Road in January as a result of feeling overlooked by Marcelo Bielsa, the 20-year-old has been in spectacular form for the U23s this season, scoring 11 goals and registering one assist over 18 appearances for Mark Jackson's side, as well as being named the Player of the Season in 2021/22.

And, following Bielsa's sacking and Marsch's appointment back in March, the Netherlands U21 international immediately found himself a regular part of the 48-year-old's 20-man matchday squads, even playing seven minutes of the 3-0 victory over Watford last month - before the £1.8m-rated talent picked up a season-ending ankle injury.

However, as a result of his breathtaking form for the club's U23 side this season, the player who Beren Cross dubbed "unplayable" and Andrew Taylor labelled both "such a danger" and a "threat" would very much appear ready to make the step up to first-team football next year - be that in the Premier League or Championship.

And, while Raphinha's boots are certainly big ones to fill, should Summerville continue his remarkable rise upon being handed a shot in the first team, the 20-year-old could very quickly prove to significantly ease the loss of the Brazilian for Marsch and his side.
