OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton women's soccer head coach Jimmy Walker officially released the 2024 schedule on Wednesday, May 1. Creighton will have one of the most competitive schedules in the country, features six matches against teams that reached the 2023 NCAA Tournament and 10 matches inside Morrison Stadium. 
 
Creighton will open the season with three exhibition matches, beginning with a road trip up I-29 to battle South Dakota on Saturday, Aug. 3. The Bluejays will then host South Dakota State at Morrison Stadium on Wednesday, Aug. 7 (6 p.m.) before wrapping up preseason friendlies with a match at home against Omaha on Sunday, Aug. 11 (1 p.m.).
 
The regular season begins with a trio of road matches against Power 5 opponents as the Bluejays kickoff the season with matchups at Minnesota on Thursday, Aug. 15 (7 p.m.) and at Iowa State on Sunday, Aug. 18 (6 p.m.). 
 
Creighton will then travel down I-80 to battle the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Sunday, Aug. 25 (7:05 p.m.). Nebraska finished last season with a 17-4-3 overall record, reaching the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. 
 
The Bluejays will then return to the friendly confines of Morrison Stadium for the next three matches, beginning with the home opener against Western Michigan on Thursday, Aug. 29 (4 p.m.). Creighton continues play on Friday, Sept. 6 (5 p.m.) with its annual Socctoberfest match against two-time defending Atlantic 10 champion Saint Louis, before wrapping up non-conference play against Kansas City on Sunday, Sept. 15 (1 p.m.).
 
BIG EAST conference play begins on the road as Creighton travels to Georgetown on Sunday, Sept. 22 (11 a.m.). The Bluejays will return home for a contest against Villanova on Thursday, Sept. 26 (6 p.m.) before closing out the month of September with a road match at Marquette on Sunday, Sept. 29 (1 p.m.). 
 
Creighton will open play in October making a trip east to battle Xavier on Thursday, Oct. 3 (6 p.m.), while a three-game home stand brings in UConn (Sunday, Oct. 6; 1 p.m.), Providence (Sunday, Oct. 13; 1 p.m.) and DePaul (Sunday, Oct. 20; 1 p.m.) for conference matchups. 
 
Closing out the regular season with three more BIG EAST contests, the Bluejays kickoff the final stretch with a road trip to Seton Hall on Thursday, Oct. 24 (5 p.m.). Creighton will then host Butler for senior day on Sunday, Oct. 27 (1 p.m.), before wrapping up the 2024 season with a trip to Queens, N.Y. for a battle against St. John's on Thursday, Oct. 31 (6 p.m.). 
 
The 2024 BIG EAST Women's Soccer Championships Presented by JEEP is scheduled to begin on Sunday, Nov. 3 with first round matchups, while the semifinals and finals will be held on November 7 and 10.
