Product description

This set compiles both original albums recorded by the great Oscar Peterson celebrating the music of Harold Arlen. He recorded the first in Mono in 1954 with his trio featuring Herb Ellis on guitar, and Ray Brown on bass, and remade nine of the tunes (adding three different ones) in Stereo in 1959 featuring Brown again on bass, and Ed Thigpen on drums. A further Harold Arlen composition, One for My Baby (And One More for the Road) , which wasn t included on either of the aforementioned albums, has been added as a bonus. It presents the same trio as the 1954 LP except Oscar Peterson both plays the piano and sings.
