Congratulations are in order for actress Christina Hendricks and camera operator George Bianchini. The pair went Instagram official with their engagement on Friday, with Hendricks writing the happy couple “proposed to each other and we said yes!!!” The six-time Emmy-nominee added, “I will love and care for him forever.”

In a statement to V.F., Hendricks followed-up, writing of the double proposal: “we knew we were in love and that we wanted to be together forever so we decided to take the pressure off one person to propose and take turns proposing to each other. It’s twice as romantic.”

The 47-year-old Mad Men star and the below-the-line technician met while shooting the NBC series Good Girls, which aired from 2018 through 2021. Bianchini is listed as a camera operator on the show’s first season. His enormous resume includes working on films and television shows like Wet Hot American Summer, The Nanny Diaries, Entourage, The Young Pope, and The Time Traveller’s Wife. His private Instagram handle is @steadig, which we’re guessing is for “Steadicam George.” Here are some photos of him lugging impressive-looking gear around.

The two were first seen on one another’s arms in November 2021 at an exhibit of designer Christian Siriano’s work at the Savannah College of Art and Design’s Museum of Art in Savannah, Georgia. Hendricks and her husband of ten years, actor Geoffrey Arend, broke up in October 2019

The mazel tovs came with gusto on Hendricks’s social media page following her announcement.

Good Girls co-star Retta wrote, “Howbow dat?! Congrats y’all!” Mae Whitman, who also starred in the show, wrote, “YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY Mr and Mrs Seagull!!!!!!!” This is probably an inside joke from the production, as Retta replied to that with some crying-laughing emojis.

Hendricks’s Mad Men alum Alison Brie wrote, “Congratulations!!! So happy for you both!!” and January Jones added a good old fashioned “Yayayayayayay!!!!!” with several heart emojis.

Kat Dennings chimed in with a “Christina!!! I love you, so happy for you both,” and Neil Patrick Harris added a “Congrats, Christina!! Happy for you!!” Queer Eye’s Tan France similarly wrote “OMG!!!!! I’m so, so happy for you both!!!” We're sensing a theme!

Melanie Lynskey, David Arquette, Anna Camp, Riki Lindhome, Olivia Munn, Debi Mazar, Christy Turlington, and many others also said nice things. Look, Christina Hendricks has a lot of fabulous friends, you’re surprised by this?

The actress will soon appear in Apple TV+’s adaptation of the Edith Wharton novel The Buccaneers with Kristine Froseth and Alisha Boe. Recent work includes voicing the role of Cherie, in a surprisingly emotional and trenchant B-story in the Hulu animated comedy Solar Opposites
