Christian Friedrich von Blücher was born on February 8, 1696, and died in June, 1761.
He initially entered a cavalry regiment the Army of the Duchy of Mecklenburg, but, by 1727, was a Captain of the Cavalry in the Army of Hesse-Cassel, ultimately resigning in 1737, and settling at Gross-Renzow.
He served as a mediator in disputes between Karl Leopold, Duke of Mecklenburg, and various guilds, for which he received a pension of 200 Thalers. His requests to return to the Army of the Duchy of Mecklenburg or for a position in the forestry service were, however, unsuccessful.
