When Margrave Christian Heinrich von Brandenburg-Bayreuth-Kulmbach was born on 29 July 1661, in Bayreuth, Bayreuth, Bavaria, Germany, his father, Markgraf Georg Albrecht von Brandenburg-Kulmbach, was 42 and his mother, Marie Elisabeth Of Denmark House of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, was 33. He married Gräfin Sophie Christiane von Wolfstein-Sulzburg on 14 August 1687, in Obersalzberg, Berchtesgaden, Berchtesgadener Land, Bavaria, Germany. They were the parents of at least 8 sons and 8 daughters. He died on 5 April 1708, in Weferlingen, Ohrekreis, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, at the age of 46, and was buried in Halberstadt, Halberstadt, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.
