We are a dynamic research group situated at the the Max Planck Institut für Molekulare Physiologie and are co-affiliated with the Technical University of Dortmund.  Currently, we are actively involved in developing innovative catalytic solutions to address fundamental selectivity challenges in carbohydrate chemistry, and are very enthusiastic in cross-disciplinary fields involving mechanistic DFT computations and chemical biology. For more information on our research, check out our research interest page.

We are always seeking for enthusiastic organic/computational chemists or chemical biologists seeking to further their doctoral studies or their post-doctoral research in an exciting and challenging environment. Our group deeply values diversity, equity, inclusion and access, which we believe is fundamental for innovation and scientific progress. Hence, we particularly invite candidates from underrepresented groups to join us!

Do you think you have an exceptional aptitude for out-of-the-box thinking and aspire to revolutionize modern synthetic methodologies with a multidisciplinary outlook?
