Prime Video released the trailer for its upcoming documentary, 'Women of My Billion,' produced by Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The documentary follows the incredible journey of Srishti Bakshi, a UN SDG Changemaker, who embarked on a life-changing pilgrimage on foot.

Bakshi walked for 240 days, covering a staggering 3,800 kilometers from Kanyakumari in the south of India to Kashmir in the north. Her mission? To meet and share the stories of everyday women across the country. The trailer offers a glimpse into the struggles, dreams, and unwavering spirit of these women as they fight for equality and overcome adversity.

Produced by Apoorva Bakshi and Monisha Thyagarajan’s Awedacious Originals in association with Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Purple Pebble Pictures. 'Women of my Billion' follows the journey of Srishti Bakshi, as she embarked on a walking pilgrimage from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, spanning 3,800 kms over 240 days, with a mission to find and share stories about women, their struggles, dreams, rights, and their wins, against all odds.

Directed by Ajitesh Sharma, 'Women of My Billion' promises to be a powerful and moving portrayal of the realities faced by women in India. The documentary is set to premiere on Prime Video on May 3, 2024.
