The defending Non-Public A champs made the 2,000-plus mile trip and made a statement to improve its win streak to 15.

Justice Haynes and No. 6 Buford (Ga.) jumped out to an early 14-0 lead over North Cobb (Kennesaw, Ga.) but
Malachi Singleton and the Warriors tied it up with six minutes remaining. Haynes scored his third touchdown of the night in the final minute to give the sixth-ranked Wolves the game-winning score to improve to 3-0.
No. 1 St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) answered its 52-14 win over Allen (Texas) with a one-sided 42-7 win over Bishop Amat (La Puente) to improve to 2-0 and have games lined up against Central Catholic (Portland), Kahuku (Hawaii) and Central Catholic (Modesto) before an Oct. 7 showdown vs. No. 2 Mater Dei (Santa Ana).
No. 10 Chandler (Ariz.) made a trip to San Diego and took down Cathedral Catholic (Calif.) 63-7 in the Honor Bowl.
