After being here for 3 years, I never really noticed anything particularly amazing about the school. When compared to any other highschool in the nation, it would
never stand out. Yet there are always connections waiting to be formed, and as for centreville, I would not go to any other school given the opportunity.

There are some great teachers and extracurriculars at this school. Unfortunately, I would advise students with disabilities or health conditions to stay away, particularly those with invisible disabilities.
This school does not provide reasonable accommodation, even with supporting paperwork from multiple doctors. During my time at Centreville with a well-documented invisible disability, I fought for was denied legally required accommodation for my first 3 years of HS.
Guidance counselor and administrators would very frequently tell me that I didn't "look sick" and make snide remarks about their lack of belief in my disability. I was asked on multiple occasions if I was in psychological treatment for my "health anxiety," a term that they coined despite having been provided with medical paperwork confirming my diagnosis and need for accommodation. Only when my family threatened legal action did they suddenly acquire the means to provide reasonable accommodation.

in my experience as a student who was very uninvolved in many activities I believe that through observation there are teachers that help and teachers that hurt the school. Many of the teachers however are very talented at what they do. The students however are not very involved in school and like to do whatever they please. Although there is a handful of students who try to pursue educations many do not
